Glasses may impede movement in recreational or sporting pursuits. Cosmetic or psychological aspects may have a negative impact on one's well-being. Annoying irritation or allergies to cleaning agents may make contact lenses incompatible.
If the following criteria apply to you, refractive laser surgery may be a real alternative for you.

Astigmatism of not more than +6 or -6 dioptres

Nearsightedness not in excess of -10 dioptres

Farsightedness up to +7 dioptres

Your refractive error should be stable

You should be at least 18 years old

You should not suffer from any eye diseases (e.g. cataracts or glaucoma)

You should not have any systemic diseases, e.g. rheumatism

In the case of allergy sufferers, surgery should take place in the
allergy-free period

In addition, surgery should not be performed during pregnancy or the
lactation period
- It ist not allowed to wear hard contactlenses four weeks and soft
contactlenses two weeks before treatment
